Medical-grade skin care · four or five steps
Medical-grade skin care in Charleston, in four or five steps.
"Medical-grade" has no legal definition. Here it means professional-strength products sold through licensed providers, chosen for your skin at the Skin Audit, used in a routine short enough that you will keep it.

In order
The routine, in principle
- 01
Cleanse
Gentle, once or twice a day. Most people over-cleanse in summer and under-moisturise in winter.
- 02
Treat
One active at a time: vitamin C in the morning, a retinoid at night when your skin is ready. Not three serums at once.
- 03
Moisturise
Gel in summer, cream in winter, nothing heavy around the eyes unless you need it.
- 04
Protect
Sunscreen every morning, reapplied when you are outside. In Charleston this is the step that does the most.
The shelf
What we stock, and what we do not
A short shelf of professional-strength basics: gentle cleansers, a vitamin C serum, two moisturisers, a retinoid, and three sunscreens people actually wear. We name the ingredients on your card, not just the product, so you can find an equivalent anywhere.
We do not stock fourteen lines, sell kits, or run a points programme. Device and product brand names are trademarks of their owners; we describe products by what is in them.
Is medical-grade skin care better?
Sometimes stronger, sometimes just pricier. The ingredient, strength and fit for your skin matter more than the label.
Do I have to buy from you?
No. Your card lists ingredients and strengths so you can buy anywhere.
How long until I see a change?
Four to twelve weeks for most routines. Results vary, and changing the routine every week resets the clock.
Can I keep my favourite products?
Usually. Most routines we write keep at least half of what you already own.
